PSORHN is the new partner of Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan of DOH

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Health through the National Center for Health Promotion in partnership with the Probe Media Foundation are preparing the next tour of the Lakbay Buhay Kalusugan or LBK with the theme "Kalusugan Pangkalahatan on Wheels". LBK was launched in 2011 and went to ten (10) key areas in the country. 

LBK is a mobile health caravan specifically travelling to geographically isolated & disadvantaged areas (GIDA) of the Philippines. In addition to providing maternal and child focused consultation and examinations, the caravan offers interactive health promotion activities to educate the people about basic health care.

This year, LBK taps PSORHN to be one of its partners in providing preventive education & awareness on teen pregnancy and STIs, HIV & AIDS. LBK believes that SRH nurses can provide these information to the people and empower them. People can also consult SRH Nurses of PSORHN for any sexual & reproductive health matters.
